Verily from the beauty of Allah’s legislation is that justice is established, and everything is given its rights, without excessiveness or neglect. For indeed Allah has ordered that there be justice, kindness, and assisting of the relatives. Due to justice, the messengers were sent, the books were revealed, and the affairs of the worldly life and hereafter were established. Justice is giving everything its right and putting everything in its proper place, and this will not be accomplished except by knowing the rights so that they will be observed.

What is intended by the term seerah is the history of the Messenger (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and this is the path that the Messenger (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to traverse upon from the time he was dispatched (as a Prophet) until Allah caused him to die.

Said Imaam ‘Abdul-‘Azeez Ibn ‘Abillah Ibn Baaz : ”Allah, the sublime and exalted, has sent down in His Grand Book many ayaat where wasting and extravagance is mentioned along with the prohibition of both, and the praise of those who adopt the middle course and are moderate and Upright in their actions, eating, drinking and the rest of their spending. Therefore, there shouldn’t be any wastefulness, extravagance, miserliness, niggardliness, extremism, or negligence.” Thusly Allah has ordained for the middle course to be adopted in all affairs and from this is the prohibition of extremism.

The Mufti Shaykh ‘Abdul-‘Azīz Āl ash-Shaykh:
Causing corruption in the land by way of highway robbery, terrorizing the people, bombings, explosions, or hijacking planes, ships, and trains are from the major sins. The recompense for one who commits this crime is that he is either executed, imprisoned, or his limbs are cut off on opposite sides. Then, a more severe punishment will come from Allāh on the Day of judgment.
