This book brings some of the history of youthful marriages in the United States and explores the parallels between those marriages and the marriage of Prophet Muḥammad to his young wife ’Āishah.
It explains the reasons why such marriages occurred, and also repels the lies and misconceptions directed at the Prophet of Islām because of his marriage to ’Āishah.
Overall, this book is not to advocate for nor encourage child marriage; its goal is to demonstrate that throughout history, older men taking younger brides was not at all strange in the United States, “native” whites not excluded.
