Selected Narrations From Kitab al-Muqaddimah

In the Muqaddimah to his Sunan, al-Imam Ibn Majah collects several Prophetic traditions addressing the obligation of adhering to the Sunnah, venerating the Hadith of Allah’s Messenger, following the path of the Prophet’s rightly guided successors, reviving the Sunnah, abandoning innovation, cohering to the correct creed, citing the virtues of the Companions, conveying knowledge, etc. No student of the Religion can neglect studying the core principles found in these narrations. Thus, the study journal before the reader contains a short collection of selected narrations from this critical text. May Allah make it a means of benefit.
