The Autobiography of Al-Muhaddith Muqbil b. Hadi al-Wadi’i

The autobiography of the noble Shaykh, Al-Muhaddith, Abu Abd al-Rahman Muqbil b. Hadi al-Wadi’i is a moving account of an extraordinary life. In this book, the Shaykh recounts the history of his tribe, his early pursuit of knowledge, his journey to Saudi Arabia to study at the Islamic University of Madinah, and his time learning from some of the leading scholars of his era. He then describes the return to his homeland, where he established a masjid and a center for learning. From this center, the Salafi call spread throughout Yemen and beyond.
